The Hotel Villa al Mare is located on the south side of the Ischia island. it lies on the terraced hillside where once were the vine and olive growing. The famous Maronti Beach strethces-below the Hotel and ends up in Sant'Angelo. Then above is the sunny hilltop Monte Cotto with the ancient village Testaccio.
On the Monte Cotto and its surroundings hills there are beautyful walks and splendid views. Nearby the Hotel the roads leads to Maronti Beach or brings you to Ischia Porto, the "main centre" of the island.
Both, beach and centre, can be reached by bus. There is a busstop past the Hotel.
